based on a Miata chassis?
bad decisions make good memories.
based on a Miata chassis?
I'm not sure, I couldn't find any source on it. Image searching has become useless as of late.
The most expensive scale car in the world; The KDF Wagen model that was presented to Hiltler on April 20, 1938 on the occasion of his birthday, was auctioned at €26,000 euros.

according to google that's $30,000!
If you buy it for me, I'll put it right here.

for 30k it had better be a real full size KDF wagen. so don't hold your breath.

It's apparently getting reconstructed.

i can't believe the yellow chop top is still around.

Apparently it was an event in Bridlington UK:

if that's the beach drag racing event, i think iv heard of it, think iv read about it in a magazine (Ol Skool Rodz. now defunct) if its what im thinking of, it's mostly aimed at the hot rod crowd.

That sounds like the event. I'd hate to have to clean those cars up after.
A motorcycle sidecar mated with a VW. We all have our dreams, I guess.

From John Mark on Facebook:
Here is my 1957 VW Woody. Today is the first time this car has seen daylight in 25 years! I have owned it for almost 40 years. Just brought it home today from long term storage.. All stock engine/trans and a totally rust free pan! No rot in the body at all, just needs some freshening up and a bit of paint and varnish. This was my daily driver in the early 1990's in Palm Beach., FL. It was even used in a few magazine ads that were published in South America (can't recall which country anymore).
This is a really early custom VW (I didn't build it, it was already really old when I bought it), and I have kept it exactly as it was built way back when. I;m planning on getting it freshened up and back on the road in the next year, as its been hidden away for too long! Will post more pictures as I dig in and clean things up.
Edit: I found an old pic from the late 80's, please overlook the hubcaps, it was the 80's after all.

screen shot from a game i play on my phone (homescapes) the current side mission/level has this bug in it several times. it's always the same image just mirrored.
