Here is my 1957 VW Woody. Today is the first time this car has seen daylight in 25 years! I have owned it for almost 40 years. Just brought it home today from long term storage.. All stock engine/trans and a totally rust free pan! No rot in the body at all, just needs some freshening up and a bit of paint and varnish. This was my daily driver in the early 1990's in Palm Beach., FL. It was even used in a few magazine ads that were published in South America (can't recall which country anymore).
This is a really early custom VW (I didn't build it, it was already really old when I bought it), and I have kept it exactly as it was built way back when. I;m planning on getting it freshened up and back on the road in the next year, as its been hidden away for too long! Will post more pictures as I dig in and clean things up.
Edit: I found an old pic from the late 80's, please overlook the hubcaps, it was the 80's after all.

screen shot from a game i play on my phone (homescapes) the current side mission/level has this bug in it several times. it's always the same image just mirrored.
