I've never heard of the track but reading about it's history on Wiki, it's been through so many alterations and improvements, it's not likely that the little Beetle did too many laps on it as the cars got faster

i knew of the track, hell iv raced there. in 8bits it's in Ferrari Grand Prix Challenge on the NES.

it appears to be a late model idk what was going on there in the early/mid 70's but i was assuming by the pic that the track may have been under construction when the photo was taken.
