shit i wouldn't pay that for a real one! id have to smog that sucker, i aint dealing with that. ...now if it were a 71... ;)

Wow, really? I think it's amazing but I didn't think that would cost that much.
pretty sure that started out as an HPI Baja 5B, which is a 1/5 scale. car alone is/was around $1000, plus all the aftermarket stuff, and i see a lot of aluminum. also willing to bet the engine has been changed. and there's probably a pipe attached to it. plus all the radio gear.

Some isolated parking lot, club race track?
Back in the day I had a rarely used soccer field nearby.
Worked well for about 30 minutes or so, before the first rubbernecks appeared. :D

mostly empty parking lots. there's a church i pass on my to and from work i stop at, nice big empty parking lot. im away from the building and people and it's off any main road so i don't get any rubberneckers or riffraff.
