That 2CV is cool... I really like his driving... Very relaxed... :D
But the gearing is a bit of a downer IMHO...

Wow, what a fun looking car to drive! Like a mini but a little bit longer.

Is that you and your sister?

I've never seen a vehicle so poorly suited for drag racing used so often and with so many predictable results of ending in a turtle pose.

Bears sort of a resemblance...
But the Simca had a rear engine and rear wheel drive. Made it quite different.
IMHO it has more in common with a Bug... Note the jack support at 0:25...
Aspect ratio of the vid is a bit odd...

The British had the Mini, the French the Simca 1000, the Italian the Fiat 500 and the Germans the NSU Prinz...

Re: The things you find on Youtube

What a fantastic car. I think I loved the one in the first video the most. It seemed the most simple. That last video surprised me in a lot of ways:

1) I've played so many racing games I knew when to lean for the corners.

2) I love the colors and stripes of the Gulf livery. It's the only livery I know the name of because it's the only one I care about enough to remember. I'd paint all my vehicles that color if I could :)

3) That guy in the yellow right in front of our driver was all over the place!

4) No Beetles. Perhaps a rule or is it just too pedestrian of a choice that nobody is interested to run one?

It's due to the racing series' regulations I guess.

The heavy Bug with its flat four doesn't stand a chance against these small lightweight vehicles I'm afraid...
Well... Without displacement restrictions it's a different story of course.
