Holy shit, that's like a time machine. I'm loving that flat as a pancake sunroof :)

Supposedly the very first, hand-built by Mr. Porsche at his home:

Hot dogs!

A nice one I found on FB:

That's really pretty. Also at 2000, he seems to have been a bit ahead of the times.

how do you figure? slammed on smoothies has been a thing forever. i can remember at least 3 rolling around my hood when i was a kid (although to be fair the grey was primer and they weren't ovals) and that goes clear back to the early 90's.

That's a super nice look. Centerlines go so well with the shape.

yeah, been kicking around using centerlines on my car. but to the best of my knowlage nobody makes a wide 5 disc break kit for a super. so id have to run adapters and im sure that would make the front to wide and the tires would rub the fenders. so instead im kicking around the idea of polished 2 liters. maybe even going 80's style and detailing them body color. haven't seen that done in a long time.

There was a set or clone radars that were being sold on FB market place for cheap that I wish I had picked up. They were those larger diameter versions that sell pretty cheaply in the shops now, IIRC. Having missed those, I'll just run with the smooth stock rims that I picked up on the samba a few years back.
