Early (1989 or so) COBRA seats.
The original black fabric upholstery was replaced by leather a few years ago.
I think they may be an early version of the current COBRA Le Mans seat.

Re: A day in the life...

They look to be super supportive. It totally goes against the ethos of both Bog and Zippy but the doctors have told me that another whiplash event will do me in so I've been keeping my eye out for something that will give me some head support. For zippy, I know there's aluminum race seats with padding that would keep my noggin safe in the event of getting rear ended. For Bog, he could get by with any junkyard seats that had a headrest. He's not picky :)

Re: A day in the life...

Driving cars without headrests scares the hell out of me. It's a no go actually.
That was a mayor issue with my '66 Notchback.
Fortunately (Hmmm - really?) I sold that car before I had to decide about the seats.
But my dilemma regarding the missing headrests in stock classic cars still exits...
My 1302 never was intended to remain stock so no remorse here. :)

 what's wrong with you. you don't just get rid of a dyno. that's kinda like getting rid of a big window semaphore car.

I really feel bad about that one. Other than some rotten GT tires, it was really nice.
