yeah iv been to Virginia in July before. the last time in 2017 for a wedding. damn 90 degrees with matching humidity and the wedding was outside! and im a sweater, so in the ruffly 45 minutes i was outside i was soaked! thank god the reception was indoors with some good AC.
wasn't as bad as the stop we made in Memphis though. that was the worst!

a few things come to mind.
1. chrome those cookie cutters
2. i have the dream of getting one of those swan boats, putting a motor on it and getting it up on plane
no idea why, just through it up one time and the idea has stuck with me.
3. id like to drive my RC cars "towards the opposite shore"
and in Randy news my 1320 Video order came. got some stickers for the bug and the tool box.

Ha! Have a set of battered cookie cutters laying around. They have the lip polished and the plan is to get them refurbished soon.

you actually take the bike apart and inspect stuff huh? can't say iv ever done that. maybe, once in a blue moon take apart, clean, repack with grease and reassemble. but never looked for wear or breakage. of course back when i was doing that i couldn't have afforded new parts so even if the OG had been worn out or broken id still use it
of course it wasn't really about preventive maintenance, it was giving myself something to do for an afternoon that gave me something to tell my friends i did that would make them think it was cool

Those ergon-style grips have really done a lot to keep me riding. I don't think I could ride with normal grips any longer. I've got them on all my MTB-style bikes now.

Well, the bottom bracket came loose lately and I suspect the PO did not torque it down correctly.
They didn't even use the correct tool since I discovered some chisel marks on both the cartridge's and cup's splines.
Fortunately the damage was minimal so the OEM Shimano BB went back in.
Now for the brakes, the levers and shift cables and finally the well-liked job of adjusting the derailleurs...
