Wow, that looks gorgeous! We've been cold and wet for months, not much in the way of pretty, just infuriatingly soggy outside life.

This was our snow. Got this as a long exposure on my phone while walking the dog:

That's going to make a very neat car. How do you trim the plastic at the bottom of the mold and end up with smooth, clean edges?

Re: A day in the life...

x-acto knife, lexan scissors, a dremel with sanding drum, a sanding block, and a little bit of patients. it'll probably take me an hour to cut it out. but im going to custom make a chassis and make an RC drag car out of it

Re: A day in the life...

We're still doing our big push to sell the house. Currently, my job is to make my basement shop just how I would like it so we can pass it on to someone else. Currently boxing the ductwork and wire/cabling. The duct above the bench actually has an 8" and two 10" ducts in it. If anyone starts pulling it apart, they risk some sort of explosion from being packed so tightly.

Lol, "Your thermostat is gone.... and then some! (and then some!)

The challenge right now is balancing "Not nice enough" with "too expensive/time consuming". Also,we're still dealing with mostly rain so I'm just trying to push through as much of the basement stuff as I can before the weather gets better, at which time I'll go outside and work on the remaining trim and deck improvements that are needed out there.

My wife really, really wants to move towards the coast and near her family so we're currently looking at Virginia, where they live. We've lived here around my family for the last two decades and she really doesn't like the isolation here so it's time for a new place to hang out.
