This is indeed a sick collection. I'm consistently amazed how they manage to obtain all these very rare parts.
He mentioned the 38 has an original prototype engine by now... :o
IIRC I read somewhere the "Grundmann Network" is also called the "KDF Mafia". :)

I think "KDF Mafia" is apt in the sense that I imagine that anything that happens in the historical realm of VW, it is quickly brought to their attention, both through their constant digging and their wealth of contacts. You can sense his passion for the car and it's history. Any old ride that ends up in their hands should consider itself very lucky indeed!
