forgot about this thread. so here's an update. i FINALLY finished this, i started it on the old addiction forum :shock: it's the Tamiya kit that i mildly modified.
interior shot came out like crap, but you get the fuzzy idea :D

copyright on the instructions say 1995. i had started it, probably in 95 or 96. it was close to finished but boxed up and forgotten for 25 years. well finally finished it. it's not great, but it's era correct for me skill wise so im happy with it.

a recent freshen up. kit is from (according to the molding inside the chassis) 1965-1967. i added the decals and modified a scoop that came with a 64 Impala kit.

finally finished throwing this thing together. started it in probably 94 or 95. was having major parts fitment issues and gave up. dug it back out a few weeks ago and finished piecing it together. it's finished about as well as it would have been finished when i started it back in 94/95. not great, but at least it's finally finished.
new wheels and tires. slightly taller tire and a 1" wider track width. should help handling.
